Music Ministry blessings

Stewardship 2008 From the moment the church bell rings summoning all to our Sanctuary for Sunday service, you can feel God's spirit through the music. It's obvious that music is an integral part of our worship service and a strong tradition of our church's ministry. We are so blessed to have such energy and focus around our music program under the guidance of Director of Music Ministries, Dr. Jon Stuber.

During 2007, FPC's music program has continued to expand: We've completed the 5th Season of Celebration Works concerts and art exhibits, and inaugurated the 6th season; the Chancel Choir has presented Bach's Cantata 68, the Music Dept. has hosted numerous guest choirs; and the Children's Choir has inspired and delighted us with their musical "David and the Giants". We are blessed to have our Cherub, Children's Youth, Handbell, Chamber and Chancel Choirs regularly participate in our Sunday worship services. Our instrumental groups, such as Alder Street Chamber Players, Alder Street Woodwind Quintet, Brass Ensemble and Chamber Orchestra also bless us with beautiful and sacred music throughout the year.

But most important of all, as a congregation together we have lifted our voices in praise to the Lord each and every Sunday with our magnificent Jaeckel Pipe organ to provide the foundation. Prayerfully and seriously consider how your pledge can allow our uplifting music program to thrive!
