Location of First Presbyterian Church

Location
First Presbyterian Church is located at 12th and Alder Streets in Downtown Portland. It is easily accessible by public transportation:
  • Tri-Met's MAX light rail
    To Beaverton/Hillsboro: Get off at the Galleria stop on 10th Avenue then walk up to 12th and 2 blocks north to Alder and look for the spire
    To Gresham: Get off at the Central Library/9th Avenue stop, walk north to Alder and west to 12th and look for the spire
  • Portland Streetcar

Entering the Building
The church office is at 610 SW 13th. Please use this entrance during the week. Doors to the rest of the church are open at 9 am Sunday.

After hours building access
Call our new facility cell phone, 503-729-2396, and the sexton on duty will come and let you in. Evening sextons leave the front desk area 30 minutes after the last scheduled meeting starts.

Parking
An attended underground parking structure is available at 12th and SW Morrison. Enter via the left lane. Handicapped parking spots are available in the parking structure.

Hours:
Monday-Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m.
Thursday-Fridays, 7:30 a.m.-12 midnight
Saturdays, 10 a.m.- 2:30 a.m.
Note: The garage kiosk will not be attended on Sundays. The doors will open for service at 8:00 am and will close at 1:30 pm, unless there is a concert or other scheduled event.

Rates:
$3.00 an hour, $8.95 daily maximum, $3.00 for evenings after 5 pm
Members attending church events during the week may have their tickets validated in the church office. Parking is free for First Presbyterian Church attenders and guests on Sundays until 1:30 pm.

From North:
I-5 South to I-405. Take the Burnside/Couch St exit. Cross Burnside and go up the hill, turning left on Alder. To access the parking garage, turn right onto 13th, left onto Morrison, and left onto 12th to enter the garage just beyond the plaza on the left.
From West:
Hwy 26 East toward Portland. Go through the tunnel and take the City Center exit. Turn left on 12th. To access the parking garage, enter the garage just beyond the plaza on the left.		 FPC in Google Maps From East:
Take I-84 West. Follow the signs for City Center (it will look like you will be getting on I-5 going South). Take the city center exit and cross the Morrison Bridge, which becomes Washington St. Stay on Washington until 13th, then turn left. To access the parking garage, continue to Morrison and turn left. Take another left onto 12th to enter the garage just beyond the plaza on the left.
From South:
Take I-5 North to Portland then follow I-405. Take the Salmon Street Exit. Stay to the left and go straight on 14th. Go 3 blocks to Morrison. Turn right onto Morrison and left onto 12th to enter the garage just beyond the plaza on the left.
